In August 2026, the Lech Classic Festival will once again brighten the Alpine summer with a brilliant celebration of music. Across seven concert evenings, a multifaceted program unfolds — featuring acclaimed vocal and instrumental soloists of international renown. They perform alongside the Lech Festival Orchestra, a distinguished ensemble of outstanding young musicians drawn from leading orchestras across Central Europe.
Our program centers on two masterworks by Gioachino Rossini: the universally cherished comic opera *The Barber of Seville* and the profoundly expressive sacred work *Stabat Mater*. Both evenings gain an exceptional artistic luster through the return of the Festival Choir, comprising members of the Bavarian State Opera Chorus.

Since 2024, all concerts have taken place in *Lechwelten*, an architectural and acoustic jewel whose intimate atmosphere lends every performance singular resonance. Year after year, audiences from around the world are captivated by the artistry and virtuosity of the performers — and by the unique closeness between artist and listener that defines the festival’s spirit.
